to September 25th

S: Must Watch

Episodes I believe you must watch or are missing out on.

1. Call of The Night. Ep. 12

Anko got real this episode, I love it. Moving on from such a part of life, after ten years of following a revenge filled path cannot be easy. And, for Anko, feeling that you must have missed out on parts of life because of such a path must be terrible.

Seeing Nazuna in a maid outfit was a reward, but seeing LG was the best surprise. Where has he been?

Good lord I’d let Kabura turn me. Not only is she beautiful, but a good person to despite what she put though.

That is not the focus however, the focus returns to Yamori. I live him even more now that we’re keeping Anko with us for what is to come. Searching for the vampire who turned her father will be interesting, it could even show another side of vampires we may have not seen yet.

Also, my heart melts to see Yamori and Nazuna get closer.

OHHHH we also got the og Ending. I like the new one but the OG is so good.

9.5/10, what a fantastic season

2. Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. Ep. 12

Mai looked great in her Yukata.

I thought Nene and Fukuyama had a link when she picked up his coat, but that is heart breaking. It’s a different version of Mai and Sakuta, thought they are already dating. If I was Fukuyama I’m not I’d be able to forgive myself.

There being a whole group that is no longer perceived was a great addition and frightening as well. The fear doesn’t end there however, Fukuyama mentioning that his classmate had no dream and died after made me worry as well.

One of the best things about Sakuta, and forgive me if I am wrong, is that he doesn’t hide his emotions. He’s always been willing to be vulnerable and show his emotions, and that is likely what helps him have such a good relationship with Mai. Just a great character overall.

9.5/10, this episode just kept delivering my god.

3. Gachiakuta. Ep. 11

Bro, can we blame Amo? She has to have gone insane if this is where she lives.

Delmon broke my heart this episode, I’m a sucker for the big burly guys, I’m trying to get like that after all. Glad it wasn’t true betrayal, his instrument would be a hassle to deal with as an enemy forever.

Rudo had it the worst this episode however. Seeing Chiwa brought back some confusing memories and he can’t bring himself to hate her completely.

Bunk all that though, we get to see Tamsy use his instrument. I’d say the guy has a dope design, but so does pretty much everyone in this anime. Even so, I wonder if the two will be able to defeat the others, or at least hold them off until Enjin wakes from his nap.

9/10, I don’t think she can be fixed

A: Very Good

Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.

4. Kaiju No. 8. Ep. 22

Broooooo, not the wedding. Thank goodness Narumi arrived in time, and the rest of the defense force for that matter.

Overwhelming the defense is a sound strategy from Kaiju No. 9, though I believe he failed to count just how powerful some of the upper echelon are.

Seeing Kikoru in the numbers 4 armor was awesome. And is that a freaking black hawk jet? A suit that lets you fly is amazing, very happy for Kikoru showing off her parent’s will.

But man, we got spoiled this episode. Number 10 paired with Hoshino is straight comedy, and also extremely dangerous since Hoshino was plenty strong already.

9/10, very fun episode

5. The Rising of the Shield Hero. Ep. 12

Naofumi being surprised by everything for five minutes straight had me rolling man, this dood is funny without even trying.

I guess we saved all the budget for this final fight, it was very well animated. Close quarter fights are always the best, some of the greatest fights in animation are just that. This was probably the best fight of Shield Hero overall as well, Raphtalia was great and now I think we don’t see her fight enough.

This season was good, not great, but good. Considering the flack after season 2, I’m glad they kept up with the anime as it is enjoyable. Furthermore, I am interested in seeing what the end of this anime will be.

The ending with Motoyasu and pig was funny, but man was that a bloody strike. Of course, she still lives. Many ate her guys, but she could be a good antagonist in the coming season.

ehhh 7.5/10, Raphtalia’s fight carried

6. My Dress-Up Darling. Ep. 24

Glad I’m not the only one who overthinks things. Akira is the perfect case of this, can’t say how many times I’ve thought about how a simple could ruin an interaction. Very much happy things are going good for Akira however.

Inui wasn’t as lucky however, poor girl was fighting for her life but I admire how much she is willing to do for her sister.

I remember this arc lasting forever in the manga and it turned off a lot of people because of it. I think Cloverworks did a great job with the adaptation.

For the shippers, it seems we’ll have to wait some more but this will definately be getting a third season.

8.5/10, jesus Marin is likable.

7. Witch Watch, Ep. 24

A good pair of jeans is life changing, I didn’t get something good for me until I was much older and I used to hate denim pants because of it.

We finally got a Moi and Nico date though it it was more a test run than anything.

There’s no perfect date, or a perfect way to do them. It will always vary by the people on the date and should be meant to have and get to know one another. Moi’s plan wasn’t bad at all, though it considering what the other would like is also important. Still, showing your interests is a great way to get to know one another.

8/10, more dates please

B: Good/Solid

8. The Water Magician. Ep. 12

First time I’ve seen Ryo even a little angry I believe. Very nice to see him get serious, though I never expected him to be that vengeful. Given how he has been throughout the anime, I expected him to be much more understanding. Still, I get being angry, for both parties.

Shout out to Abel, stopped a war and saved some lives. Even had a crazy line with saying he’d give his life before seeing a war with Ryo as the cause, fire!

Sera reuniting with Ryo was cute as well, she doesn’t know what love is yet. On the topic of age, isn’t Ryo really old, he just doesn’t know it?

This was surprising overall. I have a few rules for every season, I need my fill of fan service, a shitty isekai, and some other things here and there. I picked this anime believing it would be the shitty isekai, and I apologize for that. It’s the exact opposite, almost refreshing even. It’s a nice little adventure following a guy who isn’t clueless or weird, an exploration of a new world through his eyes. It does have it’s issues, but eh, I liked it.

7/10 would watch a second season.

C: It’s ok/Fine

These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.

9. A Couple of Cuckoos. Ep. 12

Nagi confuses me. For someone as smart as him, he sure has difficulty in making up his own mind. Then again, book smarts don’t always translate to other aspects of life, especially for areas like love.

Still, that is the anime’s biggest sin. The will they, won’t they with Amino, combined with the love polygon makes this difficult to watch because there is very little in the progress of any relationship. Even with the kiss, I don’t feel like the two have made any progress, they may have regressed in fact.

With what comes after, I learn to hate one of the girls as well. But that is for you all to go and suffer from as well.

As always, I believe Ai si the right choice, but there have been many more signs of Erika being end girl than I remember reading.

6/10, I don’t know, cute girls I guess but there is a lot of lost potential i htis anime.

10. Watari-Kun’s ****** Is about to Collapse. Ep. 12

So, I get where Ishimomma is coming from. I agree with her, sex drive is normal and should be accepted as a fact alongside the dangers of it at such a young age. She’s looking out for Ishihara who is immature to these things.

She’s a good mom, but her approach is of the more forceful nature. Is it wrong? Ummm, nyos? No parent’s are alike, it is her decision how she will care for her child, I would just do it a different manner. Separating them could lead to resentment.

It’s cute how new to dating our couple is. The blossoming love is a wonderful experience, and wanting to be better for one another is one the great things about a relationship, though this doesn’t always last.

Look man, I read ahead, I couldn’t resist. Ishihara is so gosh darn sweet, please do something to make me hate her.

D: Do Not Recommend

Shows I do not recommend you watch for various issues.

F: Bad

Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.

Some words
