These rankings are as of the episodes premiering June 6th to June 12th

S: Must Watch

Episodes I believe you must watch or are missing out on.

1. Kowloon Generic Romance. Ep. 10

The endings of the anime are so well done. Yaomei eating something from the outside seems to have removed whatever spell she was under, I only hope she will realize what will put her back in that state.

That talisman are interesting and hints at what Kowloon and generic terra could be. I believe it is a cyberspace like world created by someone but that leaves a lot unanswered such as why not everyone can see it. One talisman saying not to look for it anymore could be a message from the creator itself, or generic terra.

I like that Reiko is doing her best to be her absolute self. It’s her life, and seeing her fight through her issues is wonderful to see and even more interesting by the episode.

More and more mysteries stack however, such as the case of generic not disappearing with the original in Kowloon.

Only a few more episodes left, man do I hope they stick the landing.

2. Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX. Ep.10

Man, Nyaan has lost it; however, I can’t bring myself to dislike her given her upbringing. A life of hardship without much hope and then to be given something like ecstasy in the form of the Kira Kira would make anyone act as she does. It’s just unfortunate that it is at the cost of so many lives.

Machu is soon to join the battle and will have her match against Nyaan in which I believe one will die. I would have loved to see her dispatch the other suits to show her new training though.

The surprise attack was nice to see as well, but the focus is on the upcoming battle. It feel sad for both girls as they are being used and manipulated for the goals of others. They will be hurt, but there is a slight chance they make it out alive.

9/10, I’m not ready for someone to die.

3. Lazarus. Ep.10

I’m sorry, I like this anime! This tone and setting are just great and the OST represents it so well that I can’t help but enjoy myself.

Now then, I’ll speak about Axel first. Having taken the prototype reagent, he may become more important than I originally thought, it may also be the reason he has a hit on him. We’ll see how that goes next episode, my boy Axel better be ok after this.

Arthur also grew on me this episode, I believe he would never outright betray the Lazarus group, shoot he was willing to go to war for another so I’m sure he would choose them at the end of the day. Seeing his true self was cool however, and I hope he keeps his promise to his sister. Introduce Axel as well, the guy doesn’t care for much other than prison escapes.

We’re getting near the end now, Skinner has to be found or the world will end. I wonder if some will die before the antidote is found, if it is found that is. And how the antidote will be mass produced in time.

There is a small chance Skinner is lying, but the hints have pointed to this being true.

Very much looking forward to the next few episodes.

4. Wind Breaker S2. Ep. 24

Well, what has been my favorite arc of the series is coming to a close.

Endo is an extremely cool character with enough history and significance to even gather the top of Furin. Sakura remains as clueless to the gravity of the situation as ever, but he did have a great moment this episode.

Sakura declaring that he decides where he goes was excellent. Before, I believe he would have taken that to heart because of his self doubt. Now, however, I believe he sees himself capable of being part of a group like Furin.

with the end soon tom come, give me the season 3 announcement man.

Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.

5. Witch Watch, Ep. 10

Best girl Nemu has returned, and of course she still can’t resist her crushes touch. Understandable, though I look forward to her identity being revealed and how she will interact with the rest of the crew.

The student council is great, their tropes are so far out that they make a witch and an ogre look tame by comparison. I do have a favorite, but that is neither here nor there. What really stands out is Mio’s connection with the president. They’re so alike that it scares him though I do believe Mio would make a good addition to the council had he the time or desire.

We want more Nemu! 8/10

6. The Apothecary Diaries. Ep. 45

Man, this arc has been great and maybe even my favorite so far.

The Taibon was more of a reward for MaoMao, it only gave her a slight break before everything went down.

With the imperial army now attacking, the stronghold is going to be destroyed without a doubt, but a wonder about the woman and children as well. Loulan is certain they will be killed or punished, seeing the action she took because of it was heartbreaking, but a part of me hopes it is the revival drug. Let me cope!

So what is Loulan’s reasoning for brining MaoMao. I’m not so sure, but I know Shisui believes and trusts MaoMao.

Hm, I kind of like this anime. 8.5/10

7. Aharen-San. Ep. 10

Aw man, the heartbreaking confession was hinted at but I didn’t see it coming.

I’ll forever enjoy this anime and how silly it is. Raido and Aharen are one of the best couples I have seen and I enjoy every time they go on with some crazy idea they have.

I wonder if the end of this season is the end all together as well since we are reaching exams and the like. It’d be nice to see their futures, but I’m going to miss our group being together.

These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.

D: Do Not Recommend

Shows I do not recommend you watch for various issues.

F: Bad

Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
